Bringing to light 100 American Indian baskets from a collection of nearly 3,000, Fibers of Life demonstrated not only the beauty, but also the utilitarian aspects of the weaver’s art.

Spokane’s Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture, accredited by the American Association of Museums and a Smithsonian affiliate, maintains collections of art, regional history, and American Indian materials.
