When a “Silver” Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design rating was awarded to the Spokane Convention Center, the SPFD was obliged to create a display promoting the benefits of green building.


The Spokane Public Facilities District was created in 1989 by the state legislature to acquire, construct, own, and operate sports and entertainment facilities.
